The 9 Best Holiday Trader Joe’s Items to Keep You Warm All Winter Long!

Helllloooooooo Trader Joe’s Fanatics! Today is finally the day that I share my top 9 Trader Joe’s Holiday Items that will keep your heart warm even in subzero temperatures! Let’s get to it!

The 9 Best Holiday Trader Joe’s Items to Keep You Warm All Winter Long!

So much has changed since my fall Trader Joe’s haul. I’m happy to report that I have been medicated, Toby has his first girlfriend, and Shelly finally got her promotion, meaning I can dedicate my full attention to this recipe blog.

Each holiday season, I love to pick up some small gifts from Trader Joe’s to give my family and friends alongside their big presents, but I always end up leaving with a cart full of treats for myself. I can’t help it! Christmas is the best time to be a Trader Joe’s fan!

So, this weekend Shelly and I borrowed my neighbor’s truck to clean out the local TJ’s. I arrived 2 hours before opening and stood outside the door, waiting for them to open in the freezing cold. And even though I ended up getting frost bite and loosing two of my toe’s, it was worth the massive haul I was able to pull in.

Let’s start by talking about the decor. When I walked in, the store was beautifully adorned with holly and holiday garlands. The workers had on their jolliest smiles, and some were even wearing Santa hats. The store is full of cute little holiday plants, like Poinsettias and little “Grinch Trees.”

Why give Trader Joe’s Holiday Gifts?

With other retailers fighting for your attention this holiday season, why should you give Trader Joe’s the time of day? With Black Friday deals from Amazon and Target, what makes TJ’s worthy of a special holiday shopping trip?

When you shop at Trader Joe’s you know you’re getting the best prices. Because they keep their costs low by saving on advertising and offering their own brands, they don’t offer any sales. That’s because they focus on keeping prices low ALL year long. No worrying about fake sales where companies raise prices right before black Friday. You’ll know you’re getting a good deal!

But beyond that, you’re investing in high quality holiday items at a better price point. It’s perfect for those folks you don’t know well enough to shop for, but still want to get something for. Guilted into participating in an infuriating white elephant at work? Grab a few boxes of panetone and call it a day.

When in doubt, gift card it out.

We’re all struggling to afford groceries these days (thanks President Taft…) so you can never go wrong with treating your loved ones to a Trader Joe’s gift card. Plus, because prices are lower here, they’ll be able to get the most bang for their buck.

Listen to your heart.

When shopping for holiday treats at Trader Joe’s, remember not to take what others say about the items to heart. If you’re dying to try something I’ve posted a negative review of, don’t let that discourage you from trying it!

Don’t be afraid to get adventurous

Some of life’s best surprises come when you put two unlikely friends together. Don’t be afraid to combine some of these holiday treats to create unique flavor combinations. Don’t knock it until you try it!
